Aquiva Senior Salesforce Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer with a strong background in custom application development and AI literacy.

You will join a small-to-medium, highly efficient team that owns a client engagement from requirements through production, with AI tooling running through every stage. You will own features, from clarifying requirements with the client to shipping the release, on whatever cadence the engagement runs.

Our ideal candidate already works in an AI-augmented way, with strong judgment on what agentic tools produce.

We're hiring now in these locations: Poland, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, and Montenegro. 

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Application Development: Design and develop applications on the Salesforce platform as a senior developer.
• Proactive Client Engagement: Operate as the technical voice in the room, interfacing directly with customers to understand their challenges and deliver solutions that fit.
• AI-Augmented Development: Use agentic coding tools as your standard method of software development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the business-oriented roles to clarify user stories and requirements and align on business objectives.
• Code Quality Assurance: Own the test suite. AI will assist you, and you will decide whether it covers the cases that matter, write the ones it missed, and hold standards.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Required:

• Extensive Salesforce Development Experience: Strong track record of building complex applications on the Salesforce platform, in production, with real users and knowledge of best practices and software design patterns.
• Daily AI Tooling Practice: Cursor, Claude Code, custom agents, or an equivalent stack, already in your daily workflow. We want to hear from you about how AI helps you daily.
• English: B2 or above. You will work in English daily. You need to follow a fast-paced discussion and make yourself understood without rehearsing.
• Strong Testing Practices: Experience writing and maintaining unit tests that keep code reliable through frequent releases.
• Effective Communication Skills: Able to explain a technical trade-off to a product stakeholder who does not write code.

• Experience developing applications for AgentExchange (former AppExchange)
• Experience developing applications in React
• Claude certifications
• Salesforce certifications
